Online Teacher Course (3 units)

About This Course

Teachers will learn how to implement restorative justice discipline, resolve conflicts and practice problem-solving techniques. Using these and other strategies, including the Discipline That Restores flowchart, teachers will be able to transform their discipline process, develop positive relationships with their students, and foster a learning environment based on mutual respect, accountability, and trust.

About This Course

Principals and other school administrators will learn how to effectively plan, implement, monitor and sustain the DTR program on their campus. The course may be adapted to support short and long-term planning needs. A suggested prerequisite for this course is completion of the DTR Teacher Course.

About This Course

This online course is designed to provide teachers (grades 3-12) with the theory, models, skills, and strategies to train students to be peer mediators using the Making Things Right curriculum by Ron and Roxanne Claassen.
